Touch Tournament

Masterton Saturday 8th January 2000

On Saturday 8th January 2000, teams from our Hutt Valley competition will be traveling to Masterton in the Wairarapa which is about 80 min. from the Hutt Valley.  Teams will play touch against teams sponsored by the "Horse & Hound" in Masterton.  This is to be a fun day out with Men & Mixed games planned to be played on a very social basis as a players & supporters are welcome to join TGI on this day by meeting at the:

Horse & Hound Jackson St, Petone
10am Sat 8th January

Departing from Petone in cars to the Wairarapa for a 1.00pm game time start.  A BBQ is planned so bring a salad and meats.  Once in the Wairarapa we shall seek out the "Hound" in Masterton city before and after the games to enjoy their rural hospitality.  TGI will be putting on a $100 bar tab along with some spot prizes.

This trip is open to anybody keen to come. No tournament entry fee is required. For those keen to stay the night in Masterton a special deal has been put together.

$30.00 Hound to Hound - (Limited to the first 12 paying people) - includes transportation from Petone to Masterton, one night accommodation staying at the Colonial Cottage Motel (2 min. walk from Horse & Hound, Masterton)
All other costs are your own responsibility
