Tuesday
17th January
Hutt Rec, Lower Hutt, Sport Wgtn Kiwisports Day,
Holiday programme
TGI
Sport is very active within the community helping promote Touch
football to many areas.
Having formed a relationship with Sport Wgtn TGI was invited to
participate in this holiday programme at the Hutt Rec for children
aged 5-13 years old.
The day was a typical Lower Hutt corker with temperatures in the 20
's.
Touch football was one of four sports (Golf, T-ball, XXX ) provided
for nearly 100 hundred children on the day.
These children began learning new skills and gaining confidence in
all sports played.
Team building plus full participation of all players in a team are
some of the special attributes gained by the children when playing
the sport of Touch with TGI Sport
The day ended at about 2.30pm with all participates tired yet
enthused and cherry at the end.
